Our Extreme / Ultra-Duty Plate Steel Diff Cover is designed to work perfectly on the 99-Present Ford Superduty Dana 60 axle and the 1998-2002 Ford Superduty Dana 50 axle. This is a perfect add-on to our GM Solid Axle Swap Kits!
The Diff Cover is built with durability and fit at the forefront of design; all others fall short which is why we decided to make this cover. This differential cover starts with a 1-piece 3/8 inch (0.375 in) steel plate cap that is CNC cut then bent 8 ways and welded to a 3/8 inch thick mounting ring! Then we weld all the seems inside and out and add a generous 1 inch ID fill plug for easy oil fill and level check. After the diff cover is fully welded we machine the mounting surface flat for a perfect leak free fit (when properly installed of course).
This cover is designed specifically to fit Ford Super Duty Front Axles which have a more shallow cover to clear steering linkage. This cover will NOT clear the ring gear on a standard Dana 60. This differential cover will ONLY fit 1999 to Present Dana 60's found in F-250 and F-350 trucks as well as the 1998-2002 Dana 50 found in F-250 and F-350 Trucks.
IMPORTANT - This ecover ONLY works on Ford Superduty Front Axles as stated above and will NOT fit standard Dana 60 axles or aftermarket center sections.
